While being a Product Design and Art Director for a manufacturing company in Shenzhen, China, he has been an active cg artist as well. For the past few years, his devotion for traditional and digital art continuous to grow. By winning several cg and art challenges, joining forums in the web, uploading several videos & tutorials on youtube and having his works published on Exotique 3 and 2Dartist magazine, clients began knowing him and several works starts to pour-in. Although he loves to do Japanese- inspired sci-fi and fantasy he prefers to challenge himself on doing much wider range of genres. His latest art ventures include projects for: Fuller Flippers, Questcards USA, Beijing Olympics and some independent game producers from Hongkong.

As an industrial designer, Raffy gained his experience with a number of trading and manufacturing companies he worked for the last 15 years. As an artist, he’s been selling licenses and working on illustrations of characters, magic items, weapons and scenes for board games and other related merchandises.
He obtained a Bachelor Degree in Industrial Design from Mapua Institute of Technology. He is fluent in Tagalog, English and Chinese Mandarin, and with a little basic understanding of Spanish. Besides his professional activity as an artist-designer, he loves music, and also enjoys playing guitar and doing live sessions with fellow artists for hobby.
